Asics Nimbus 23. The classic is back with a terrific running shoe for the neutral runner.  Asics Nimbus 23 guarantees extreme comfort on your runs – just like the previous 22 versions have done. There are very few updates from Nimbus 22 but we will get to them later.

UPPER

The upper is designed in an extremely breathable engineered mesh-upper. It has a perfect fit and the Ortholite 55 technology in the heel provides great comfort. The tongue, which is attached with two elastics on each side, is relatively thick and soft and functions like a duvet over your wrist. The upper also has reflexes to make you visible in the dark. 

MIDSOLE

Asics Nimbus 23 is designed with the well-known Gel-material in the heel and the amount of Gel has been increased in this version to provide a softer landing. It has a  Flytefoam midsole throughout the sole to provide great shock absorption in your take-off. Along with Flytefoam, the midsole also has FlyteFoam Propel built in. This takes part in making the landing even more responsive. In addition the Trusstic technology helps to provide yet more stability on your runs. 

OUTSOLE

The outsole contains light rubber which is extremely durable to make the shoe perform over long time. 

Nimbus 23 vs Nimbus 22

The new Nimbus haven´t got a lot of updates but why should you change a winning combination. However, there has been a few updates which are the following: 
Added Gel in the heel 
The mid foot part has been yet more stabilized 
Upper is softer for increased comfort 
Nimbus 23 have been produced with recycled materials.
