The Asics GEL-Nimbus 23. The classic is back with a fantastic running shoe for the neutral runner. Like always, the Asics GEL-Nimbus 23 is your guarantee for an extremely comfortable feeling whenever you are running. It has been like this for the past 22 generations and remains this way in the Nimbus 23. There are only minimal changes from the Nimbus 22 to the Nimbus 23, but there are a few which will be mentioned later on.

The Sakura model is a limited edition and a part of the ASICS Sakura collection, which is specifically designed for women’s foot anatomy.

UPPER

The upper of the Asics Nimbus 23 is made in an engineered mesh upper, which is extremely breathable. It fits perfectly around the foot, and with the Ortholite 55 technology in your heel, it will give you an extra lovely feeling once you step into the running shoe. The shoe tongue of the Nimbus 23 is relatively thick and soft and sits like a duvet over the instep. It is fixed with two elasticated bands on each side. There are reflectors on the upper, which will make you visible during the dark hours of the day.

MIDSOLE

This is where you find the renowned Gel material in the heel, and once again, there is a bit more Gel to make the landing feel even softer. There is some Flytefoam in the midsole throughout the entire sole, which provides the perfect shock-absorption throughout the rolling-action of the foot. Together with the Flytefoam, there is also some FlyteFoam Propel in the midsole. This helps for a more responsive landing, compared to a midsole comprising only FlyteFoam. The Trusstic technology, which is also located in the midsole, helps to give the running shoe a bit more stability for your run.

OUTSOLE

In the outsole is a lightweight rubber, which is extremely durable and will make the shoe perform for longer.
