Upper
Basically everything worked perfectly in the previous version of 1080, 1080 V10 and consequently New Balance haven´t made a lot of updates in the new version. Why would you change something that worked so well? However, they have changed the upper which this time comes in a more flexible and not least breathable material compared to the 1080 V10. Consequently the upper will provide more airflow which will keep your feet cool and comfortable throughout your run. 

Midsole
The 1080 V11 midsole is the same as in the 1080 V10. This includes a further development of the popular Fresh Foam. Its called Fresh Foam X and comprises a more processed version which contributes to increased cushioning, softness and return energy. The lateral side is engineered with laser perforations to create the soft and luxurious comfort which turns this running shoe as well as its predecessor into the most cushioned version of 1080.

Outsole
The V11 outsole is also the same as the 1080 V10. The outsole is designed with strategically placed zones which provides a more dynamic gait. At the same time the durable rubber compound will ensure great durability and traction which is needed for workouts on solid surfaces.
