The latest model of Nikes most popular running shoe, Pegasus, has been released. In the new Pegasus 38, Nike have preserved many of the things that worked wonders in the previous version, but there has also been room for a number of improvements. Nike Pegasus 38 is the perfect allround shoe if you want a comfortable shoe which can be used on all types of runs. 

In the latest version of Pegasus, Nike have preserved the well-known combination of  Zoom Air in the forefoot and React-foam in the midsole from the previous version and made big changes and improvements in the upper. More space is provided in the forefoot, the mesh has been redesigned to improve breathability, a little pillow has been added to the tongue to increase comfort, and the heelcap has been changed to provide an even better foothold.

UPPER

New mesh, a new tongue and a new lacing system have changed the upper. The forefoot now comes with a wider design than the predecessor, so you´ll find more space for your toes. The upper is very breathable and provides plenty of ventilation for your feet. And the new Nikes Wide Strips lacing system ensures a great foothold, so you´ll get a comfortable run knowing that the shoe stays in place. 

MIDSOLE

The Nike Zoom Air  Pegasus 38 midsole is practically identical to the 37´. The combination of the Zoom Air forefoot pillow and a fine layer of React-foam makes the shoe feel stable and fast at high speed and soft and comfortable during easy-going runs. Both materials are also very durable so the shoe can last mile after mile. Just like in the previous model, the Air-pillow in the women´s and men´s version differ from each other. The pillow provides different pressure to optimize the shoe for men and women respectively. 

OUTSOLE

The outsole is designed in a rubber compound and shaped in a classic pattern. It provides a great grip on wet as well as dry asphalt and can be used on regular trail in the woods. In addition its very durable and will last mile after mile.
