The Altra Vanish Carbon is Altra’s super shoe. Here you get ultra lightweight EGO-PRO foam and a carbon plate from Carbitex that propels you forward at high speed. The Altra Vanish Carbon combines the feeling and speed of the market’s best super shoes with Altra’s approach to shoe design, so you get a foot-shaped (Slim FootShape) racing shoe with a 0 mm drop. It also features an Active Stance Rocker that helps you move forward in your gait cycle. The upper is made of a thin and breathable mesh material that lets your foot breathe, as well as holds it in place. Like Altra’s other shoes, there is plenty of room for the toes. EVA is used to construct the outsole and is strategically placed to give you good grip and make sure to keep the overall weight down.
