The shoe is built with a soft and responsive FuelCell midsole, which both takes the shocks from the ground, but at the same time sends you off with high return energy. The New Balance FuelCell Rebel v3 is a very light shoe, which means that you can easily run at a high cadence and accelerate. The upper part is made of a thin mesh material that is very breathable, but also keeps the foot well in place. On the outer sole, there is rubber under the forefoot and heel, which gives a good grip and durability, but at the same time it also keeps the weight down because it is not under the entire foot.
