The Altra Mont Blanc is a superb shoe for long trail runs and ultra runs. Altra Mont Blanc is made specifically for the requirements of the UTMB race in the French Alps. Emphasis has therefore been placed on a combination of comfort, relatively low weight and grip for mountains. You therefore get a shoe that is exceptionally well suited for long runs in challenging terrain. 

Altra Mont Blanc is made with Altra’s EGOMAX foam, which is really soft and comfortable. It is also quite responsive, so you get a high energy return. The upper part is made of a thin and protective mesh material. The outsole is made with Vibram grip built after LITEBASE. In addition, they are foot-shaped, so that the foot can work naturally, and there is room for them without anything squeezing.
