New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro V8 Gore-Tex is designed with a Fresh Foam X midsole to offer you a soft and responsive feel, a MegaGrip outsole for increased grip on surfaces, and this version is equipped with a Gore-Tex membrane to keep your feet dry in all weather. In this 8th edition of the shoe, the midsole has been enhanced with an updated version of Fresh Foam X, now slightly softer than the previous edition. The outsole has a new pattern that should make the shoe more usable in more challenging terrain.
A good shoe for those who want a trail shoe that works on various surfaces – and can also be used on asphalt sections on the way to the forest. The shoe has also received the New Balance Green Leaf label, meaning that more parts of the shoe are made from recycled materials – including at least 50% of the upper and 3% of the midsole.
