Asics Kayano 31 is the successor to the extremely popular Kayano 30, which underwent a major update from its predecessor, Kayano 29. In this version 31, they have retained the features that worked, but updated the shoe with some minor changes. The shoe still has a 10mm heel drop, and is made with the well-functioning FF Blast+ ECO midsole material, and of course PureGEL. The shoe has a better ventilating upper, which you will benefit from on those days when you need a few extra minutes in the shoes. Asics Kayano 31 gains its stability from its 4D Guidance System™, which provides an adaptive stability pattern.
