Hoka Gaviota 5 is a stability shoe with new innovative techniques such as Hoka H-Frame and an improved CMEVA midsole. Gaviota 5 is made with a 6mm heel drop, in a midsole consisting of a new improved CMEVA midsole material, which is slightly more shock-absorbing than before. This H-frame technology is a different form of stability than the classic wedge. Here, your foot is placed in an H-frame, where the outer sides are made of a firmer foam material, thus centering the foot in your gait. The upper is an engineered mesh upper, where extra padding has been added in selected areas.
