Forerunner 255 from Garmin is a super lightweight and sleek running watch for the dedicated runner. And now it’s no longer just a running watch; it actually has a multisport function, so it can also be used by triathletes. Garmin Forerunner 255 and Forerunner 255 Music are primarily a running watch for the dedicated runner, who wants a running watch that provides data and insight into their running with analyses and improvements.
Garmin Forerunner 255 and Forerunner 255 Music have been added a wide range of training profiles, making the watch useful for more than just running.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
Forerunner 255 and Forerunner 255S, as previously mentioned, come in different dimensions. The “regular” model measures 45.6 x 45.6 x 12.9 mm, whereas the S-model measures 41 x 41 x 12.4 mm. They also have different screen resolutions, 260×260 pixels and 218×218 pixels. All Forerunner 255 watches come with a durable screen with Corning Gorilla Glass, and are waterproof up to 5 ATM.
BATTERY LIFE
In normal watch mode (smartwatch mode) the battery life lasts up to 14 days.
With GPS turned on, it’s 30 hours.
Forerunner 255 can now receive Multiband GPS-which means you can simultaneously receive satellite connections from various systems at the same time.
Note: Battery life is reduced with Multiband turned on.
Garmin Pay
With Garmin Pay, you can set up your watch so you can use it instead of your credit card.In this way, you ensure that you always have a payment method at hand.
Running Power

Garmin Forerunner 255 measures your sleep rhythm and measures via the accelerometer, Garmin Elevate, and Pulse Ox sensor, how you move during the night, and how incredibly you lie. Additionally, it also measures your HRV status, which gives you information about whether you are ready to train or you need to take it easy.
